SugarPea Designs Release Week - Day 1

Hello everyone! I hope you're having a good day! And if you're not I'm sure this will change the moment you'll see what today's post is about!

Everyone, welcome to the first preview of the new release at SugarPea Designs! I really hope you'll join me over the next 5 days as I'll share Sweet Peeks for the 13 new products that will be available for purchase starting this Friday, February 16th at 6pm EST in the SPD store.

For my first card I used the absolutely gorgeous "Pretty Peonies" stamp set and the so versatile "Card Front Element Builder" die set.

It's impossible for me to tell you how much I love these 2 products! The flower stamps are so fabulous and the font of the sentiments is beautiful. The Card Front Builder has so many dies that give you endless possibilities for creating an amazing card in little time.

For creating this card the first step was to die cut two panels from a dark grey cardstock. For the first panel I used the largest stitched die and for the second panel I used the scalloped rectangle die.

Next I stamped the flower on a white cardstock in Antique Linen Distress Ink and colored it with my Spectrum Noir markers. After the coloring was done, I placed my image back in the Misti and stamped again in VersaMark and white embossed it for a finished look. Next I fussy cut the image using a sharp pair of scissors and moved to the sentiment.
After I white embossed the sentiment on the panel, I also added white splatters for more effect and then I mounted the beautiful flower in the center of the panel.

To finish my card I mounted the scalloped panel on the stitched one and adhered everything to a white card base and my card was done! Super easy, super fast and with a gorgeous result!

Don't forget to visit the SugarPea Designs blog and leave a comment at every post on this release for your chance of winning the daily prize.

And with the new release that will be available on Friday, 16th there'll be a new free product when you'll place a order of $60 or more and it's the lovely "Hello" die.

That's all for today!
